Port Adelaide : Ginninderra Press , 2017'Most of these poems were written between 2012 and 2015 and reflect life in the City of Yarra, where I work, and through which I often walk. The window of my office looked directly out at Atherton Gardens, so that building and the people in it and the streets around it have been at the centre of my thoughts. I have avoided trying to speak for any actual person, but instead to think of the situations and observations of a variety of characters. The sequence is, above all, an homage to an area of Melbourne and the people who live in it. ' (Publication summary)
Port Adelaide : Ginninderra Press , 2017'"Poems like ‘Ballooning at Versailles’ and ‘Time and Silence’ in this collection demonstrate the precision and clarity that characterise Beverley George’s practice in a range of forms. Her narrative poems and tributes reflect the tact and sureness that also inform her understated, sure compositions in haiku and tanka, where she excels." - Michael Sharkey'

Port Adelaide : Picaro Press , 2018'Jordie Albiston has published many poetry collections and a handbook on poetic form. Jordie works within formal boundaries: traditional, experimental or self-imposed. She seeks the musical cadence while endeavouring to exact a mathematical sense of existence. Often she utilises historical sources from which to wrest a kind of documentary cataloguing: other times she refers to an internal witness of experience. The poems here were commissioned by Anna Messariti (Much Ado) for a music-theatre piece, Aphrodite’s Tears. Jordie’s work has won many awards, including the Mary Gilmore Award and the 2010 NSW Premier’s Prize. She lives in Melbourne.' (Publication summary)
