BiographyHistory

Barbara Fisher spent part of her childhood in England and after studying at the National Art School in Sydney, she worked as an illustrator. Her marriage to an architect took her to live in London again for many years. Fisher has worked as an antiquarian bookseller in Sydney and her poetry has appeared in a number of journals. In 1999 she was awarded a Varuna mentorship with Kevin Brophy.
