y separately published work icon Concurso literario Club Español de Sydney 1969-1996 Ignacio García , Campbelltown : s.n. , 1997 Z1383336 1997 anthology poetry prose This is a compilation of poems, short stories and essays, written in Spanish, that have won prizes at the Spanish Club of Sydney between the years 1969 and 1996. Photocopies of original material, held in the archives of the Spanish Club, along with copies of articles from the Club's newsletter and, in some cases, copies of material published in El Español en Australia and the collection Poemario have been brought together in a single bound volume. Not all prize winning works have been included, as material for some years proved impossible to locate. As the compiler Ignacio Garcia points out in his introduction, the literature of migration, such as is brought together here, is fragile. Its vulnerability to loss was the motivation for this collection, a significant contribution to the documentation of literary production in Spanish in Australia. Campbelltown : s.n. , 1997
