The China-Australia Literary Forum, or CALF, first took place in 2011. It is a biennial event that supports Australian and Chinese literature publishing, translation and scholarship.
It has variously been funded and supported by the Australia-China Council and the Western Sydney University Writing and Society Research Centre.
It has attracted significant Australian authors including Alexis Wright, Yu Ouyang and J. M. Coetzee.
This exhibition provides a brief overview of each forum and an introduction to the keynote Australian authors at each event.
