Notes

  • From the Introduction by W.H. Ifould (frontmatter): "This book is the work of Miss Ida Leeson, B.A., the Mitchell Librarian. To cover the subject Miss Leeson has been forced to devote long hours of work during a period when her office of Mitchell Librarian was particularly exacting. Miss Leeson desires that the valuable assistance of two of her officers, Miss C.K. Irvine, B.A., and Miss H. Mackay, B.A., should be acknowledged."
