AbstractHistoryArchive Description

This is the record of Alice's adventures in Sutherland (Australia). She meets the Native Bear, who journeys with her to Noman's land, a large part of Australia (equating to the contemporary area of most of the Northern Territory and South Australia) which was not taken possession of by the British settlers. She meets the native fauna and learns about settlement history and colonial exploration of the Australian continent.
