In the Neighbourhood explores Australia's increasingly important political, social and cultural engagement with Asia. Australians are more connected with Asia than ever before, but the public debate and understanding lags behind the lived reality. Countries in the region have changed dramatically in the last two decades and the consequences will be profound in the Pacific Century. Australian engagement with Asia is the key to the future. Understanding how the region has changed and our place in it goes beyond business to questions of identity.
