Review of Miles Franklin's "Joseph Furphy" A. D. Hope , 1945 single work review
— Appears in: Meanjin Papers , Spring vol. 4 no. 3 1945; (p. 225-229)
This review of Miles Franklin's biography of Joseph Furphy is most interesting for its analysis of Such is Life. Hope declares that Furphy's narrative style presents a theory of the novel.
