'Bonegilla Migrant Reception Centre housed and trained refugees and migrants during Australia's post-war immigration boom. Tes Lyssiotis' powerful docu-drama Hotel Bonegilla was first performed at La Mama in August 1983 and still resonates in its commentary on Australia's complex relationship with migrants, refugees and immigration.'

    The 2017 revival was produced again by La Mama Theatre (La Mama Courthouse), 22 August to 2 September 2018.
