BiographyHistory

Konstandina Dounis was born in Australia of Greek heritage. Her parents emigrated from the Greek island of Evia in 1955. Dounis has published poetry in anthology and literary criticism. She has collaborated in the production of drama with Tes Lyssiotis and Vasso Kalamaras (qq.v). She has lectured in the Modern Greek Department of RMIT and has been co-ordinator of the Greek-Australian Archive, also at RMIT. She is studying a PhD on Greek-Australian Women's Writing through La Trobe University (2011).
