BiographyHistory

A Schwartz Publishing imprint commissioned by Professor Robert Manne (La Trobe University), Black Inc. Agenda was conceived as a means of deepening public discussion in the area of Australian politics. Accordingly, it aims to produce high-quality scholarly books with a distinctively political edge. One of its most successful titles has been Andrew Wilkie's Axis of Deceit.

Other published works include The Dreaming and Other Essays (W.E.H. Stanner, 2011), Poll Dancing: The Story of the 2007 Election (Mungo MacCallum, 2007), Sense and Nonsense in Australian History (John Hurst, 2006, 2009), Do Not Disturb: Is the Media Failing Australia? (Robert Manne, 2005), Following Them Home: The Fate of the Returned Asylum Seekers (David Corlett, 2005), and Whitewash: On Keith Windschuttle's Fabrication of Aboriginal History (Robert Manne, 2003).
