A brief memoir of Marek by fellow Polish Australian poet Ludwika Amber, recalling their occasional meetings in Sydney, and reflecting on his 'avant-garde' poetry. It includes an excerpt from his poem 'Na pogrzebie Wierzyńskiego' ('At the funeral of Wierzyński'), on the Polish émigré poet Kazimierz Wierzyński, who died in London in 1969.
