Dedication: This poem is dedicated to my brothers who had to leave Iran and flee to neighbouring Pakistan on their way to Australia when I was 8. I did not see them for 11 years living only with their memories, letters and phone calls. When we were reunited I was unrecognizable to them as a young 19 year old.
