BiographyHistory

Roshanak Amrein is a follower of the Baha'i faith who came to Australia as a refugee after experiencing persecution in Iran. Speaking little English when she arrived in Australia in 1994, Amrein repeated Year 12 and qualified as a dentist by 2000. She now has her own practice in Adelaide.

Amrein has had two books of poetry published in Germany, One Million Flights (2010) and Songs from a Far Island (2012). The latter is published in bilingual format (English/Persian).
