'Mr Hyne, according to Hansard, when reading an extract from the Cairns Post in the Assembly, said - "It (the Cairns Post) was a strong Government supporter". Unless Mr Hyne spoke sarcastically, he was wrong, emphatically wrong. The Cairns Post is, and always has been, in strong antagonism to the present Government.'
