  • Mr Meston's celebrated article on the Barron Falls will be published in our next issue. It appeared first in The Queenslander about three years ago and has been translated into several languages.
  • Mr Meston's 'Marseillaise' was performed at the Liedertafel concert in Brisbane with great success. The Courier described it as 'this new national song', and 'Moorabinda' in The Bulletin said the song should be 'sung, hummed or whistled' by all true Australians.
