Theatre Royal, Sydney, Barnett Levey , single work column
Barnett Levey advises patrons that the present season at the temporary Theatre Royal will close in one week. After that time, it will only be open for performers' benefits.

The Theatre, single work column
The writer for the Sydney Monitor advises Barnett Levey to take steps to quash a rumour that he intends to 'exclude from the Stage, all actors who came to this Colony originally in bondage, though now free'. The writer continues: 'Mr. Levey denies having any such intention; we therefore write this to put him on his guard and as his friends'.
