A laudatory review of the previous night's performance of Macbeth. The reviewer finds no fault with Mr Anderson's portrayal of Macbeth and is of the opinion that it is almost 'the Shakespearian student's ideal of the character'. The audience was appreciative and particularly enjoyed the sword play, which brought down the gallery and, in the opinion of the reviewer, 'showed that few things are more acceptable to a British audience than a good hand-to-hand fight'.
