AbstractHistoryArchive Description

In a re-education camp in the jungle of Thanh Hóa, the writer met a family of two pretty women and their elderly grandfather. They were 'residents of nominated address', which meant they had to live where they were told. In all cases, this was from one jungle to another. They were punished because the grandfather had been an district level administrator before 1954.
