BiographyHistory

Phan Lạc Phúc studied jounalism at New Rochelle University in the 1960s as part of his service in the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. He became the editor of Tiền Tuyến, a magazine of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam in 1965-1973. Because of that, he was put in re-education camps for 10 years, from 1975 to 1985, and for the two years afterwards he was held in house arrest. After his arrival in Australia, he contributed articles and short stories to different Vietnamese journals and magazines in Australia, Canada, France and US. He has published two books, Bạn Bè Gần Xa (2000) and Tuyển Tập Tạp Ghi (2002).
