An Explanation of Transcreation, Vivienne Glance , single work criticism
The authors provide an explanation of transcreation as 'an artistic reworking of a literal translation in conjunction with the original writer. It is a term created through conversations with writers from many cultures to distinguish it from a literal translation created solely by a translator.' (p. 9)
