Notes

  • The column 'Diario de un emigrante,' by Mónica Gómez, appeared in Nosotras beginning in volume 1, number 1, July 1992 and ran until volume 2, number 1, Jan/Feb 1993. The first instalment appeared anonymously; with the second, Gómez was identified as author; the fourth instalment carried the disclaimer: 'Cualquier semenjanza con personas o hechos de la vida real, es sólo coincidencia' [any resemblance to persons or events in real life is coincidental].
