'In the Nyitting Time' translates to 'In the cold time' and is the traditional way Noongars used to start their stories - as opposed to 'nce upon a time'.
Yirra Yaakin's new family theatre show introduces stories inspired by Traditional Noongar Dreaming based on waterways and native animals found in Noongar Country.

Yirra Yaakin Noongar Theatre toured this family show in primary schools for four weeks in the the Pilbara and Kimberley region, May 2007. Director: Derek Nannup.
