A boy's view of an Australian agricultural show. David ventures through the noisy stalls, visits the animals, rides the Ferris Wheel, talks to clowns and woodchoppers and the owners of seeing-eye dogs. The highlight of his day is when he meets a young horserider, Felicity, who lets him try on her boots and cap.
