Notes:

'Summer Dreamings' and 'Fugitive Poems' are bound together. It may be the case that either the author or person unknown has bound the works of C F Taylor together using the remaining copies of the previous print runs. The title page for 'Summer Dreamings', published in Melbourne by Fergusson & Moore, Printers, in 1872, has been retained. There is no corresponding t.p. for 'Fugitive Poems'. The pagination does not follow on, jumping from p. 62 at the end of 'Summer Dreamings' to p. 81 for 'Fugitive Poems' with nothing between.

The name of the printers for 'Fugitive Poems', Walker, May and Co., Melbourne, is given on p. 87. Volume bound by W. Detmold, Melbourne (details inside back cover).

    • Melbourne, Victoria,: Fergusson and Moore , ca. 1875-1879 .
      Extent: 87p.
      Description: illus., port.
      Note/s:
      • Inscription in copy held at Fryer Library, University of Queensland: 'With the author's compliments and best wishes, Charles F Taylor 18/89'.
    • Melbourne, Victoria,: Fergusson and Moore , ca. 1875 .
      Extent: 1-60; 81-87; 1-80p.
      Note/s:
      • Consists of the original sheets of Summer Dreamings (1872) and Alcander (1874) bound together. Each works retains its own title page and pagination (p. 1-62 and p. 1-80 respectively). Inserted between these two works is "Fugitive Poems", which does not have a title page and whose pagination (p.81-87) suggests that it should have been bound in at the end of C. F. Taylor's Works, rather than in the middle.
