Notes

  • The prize-winning entry in the State Library of Queensland Young Writers Award is generally published in Brisbane's Courier-Mail newspaper. The newspaper's editor, David Fagan, declined to publish Glazebrook's story due to its 'glamorised' portrayal of suicide.

The story is available online via the State Library's website: http://www.slq.qld.gov.au/whats-on/competitions/awards/ywa/2007_winner
