This handbook is for those practitioners committed to working towards Reconciliation and social justice in Australia. It has been developed by non-Indigenous and Indigenous practicioners as a guide for psychologists and others intending to work with Indigenous people in culturally informed ways. The contents are made up of five sections with individual discussions that cover topics suchs as the history of Indigenous Australians, cultural differences and cross-cultural communication, Psychology and Indigenous People, Alternative Models and Community Initiatives and the Last Word, a summary by Elders Richard Wilkes and Joan Winch.
