AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Baranay describes the way in which she used Somerset Maugham's The Razor's Edge, and his main character, Larry Darrell, to shape her novel Lotus Feet. Baranay used 'exactly [Maugham's] structure and his constellation of characters, only they live 60 years later and are Australians rather than Americans in Europe.'

Notes
