A comedy drama about a displaced Italian grandfather living with his son's family in suburban Sydney but dreaming of returning to his birthplace, Naples. Nonno's mischief causes problems for all the family, especially his daughter-in-law Anna. His only real ally in life is Nick, his teenage grandson, whom he involves in a plot to save his ageing friend Gennaro from a fate worse than death: a nursing home.
