BiographyHistory

Monica Pellizzari was born to an Italian family in Fairfield in the west of Sydney and spent her early years there. A graduate of the Australian Film Television and Radio School, she has written, produced and directed several films including Just Desserts, which won the Special Jury Prize at the 1993 Kobe Film Festival and a Silver Baby Lion for Best Short Film at the 50th Venice Film Festival.
