Editor's note: How do artists juggle the demands of their work and the more mundane pressures of daily life? Sam Sejavka chronicles his attempts to achieve this feat during the staging of his play 'Mysterium', set on an old sailing ship.

Notes

  • During the 2004 production of 'Mysterium' Sejavka kept a diary of the performances over the nights from 31 October - 13 November. Those entries are transcribed here.
