BiographyHistory

Sam Sejavka has worked as an actor in addition to writing plays and works of fiction. As a musician, he was the vocalist for post-punk bands The Ears and Beargarden. The Ears, and Sejavka, influenced Richard Lowenstein's film Dogs in Space.

Mysterium 1998 single work drama

'"Mysterium" is a full length play for five actors. Its style verges on magical realism and borrows from the form of the Medieval miracle play. It explores the tension between the irrational and rational, science and religion. It mixes the absurdly comic with Byronic Romance and Gothic horror.'
