'Kered discovers his uncle is plotting to take over Tanaria himself rather than restore Kered to his rightful throne. Forced to flee again, he heads south, gathering allies to his cause. As Kered learns more about the role laid out for him in the Prophecy of the Sharid, he discovers that the future of the entire Ten Realms depends on his ability to defeat the Sarods.'
