  • 'Boult to Marina' is one of seven poems from The Darkening Ecliptic that was cited during the Angry Penguins obscenity trial. The trial was conducted in Adelaide in September 1944. Boult and Marina are characters from Shakespeare's play, Pericles. They meet when Marina is sold by pirates to work as a prostitute in a brothel.
