This beautifully illustrated picture book tells the story of Trumpet who, adopted by a neighbour when her family move house, seems to be getting fatter and fatter. Finally her new family realise that Trumpet is going to have kittens, and the arrival of Trombone, Clarinet, Piccolo and Cymbals is an event enjoyed by the whole family.
