Tale of the journey from Wilcannia to Palmerston with a mob of sheep and a hundred horses made by two brothers from Colac, Victoria and the wife of the elder brother. On their march toward the Yam Creek gold-rush the younger brother is killed by their Aboriginal guide, and the wife dies soon after arriving at Palmerston with her husband. (PB)
