'Shadow Of The Eagle' is a drama based on the first meeting between US General Douglas MacArthur and John Curtin in Canberra in 1942. This play examines how two men from different backgrounds, and with very different beliefs and values find common ground on which to forge a relationship that was crucial to the battle for Australia and the Pacific.

  • This drama was commissioned by and in partnership with John Curtin Prime Ministerial Library.

  • First performed 24 -21 May 2003 at the Playhouse Theatre, 3 Pier Street, Perth.
