This volume of multicultural literature contains 65 short autobiographic recollections and poems. All were written by some 45 members of the Melbourne Child Survivors of the Holocaust, which was formed in 1990. The contributors recall experiences of concentration camps, ghettoes, hiding in confined places, physical abuse, severe hunger and separation from family in extreme circumstances.
