AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Set in London, the tale of a terrier who wanders astray after disobediently biting his young mistress's doll, is kidnapped and sold as a Toby-dawg to a Punch and Judy show. He is briefly reunited with her at a children's party before he dies. Probably a children's animal story; well-told; status indicators re: children etc, very pronounced. (PB)
