'Meet the mice who live in Squeak Street. There's Old Bun in Number One, Old Shoe in Number Two, Fee Fee in Number Three ... and many more from Pink-Paw in Number Four to Adeline in Number Nine. But who lives in Number Ten? You'll have to wait and see' (Source: back cover).

Notes

  • Beginning in 2005 the characters from Squeak Street were re-introduced by Rodda and McLean through a series of readers intended for children aged six to seven years. The ten stories were published under the title, Squeak Street Series.
