Notes

  • The 2nd edition was published in 1915 and in that same year it ran to its 8th edition. The different editions record that it was 'sung by Mr William A Robyns, and played by leading Adelaide bands', and 'sung with enormous success by Miss Elizabeth Davall in the great cinema play, 'The Hero of the Dardanelles'
  • Dedication: 'Dedicated to the Expeditionary Forces. Published in aid of comforts for wounded soldiers'.
