AbstractHistoryArchive Description

When a dusky wood swallow seeks rest on the ledge of a building he is discovered by a young woman who takes him on a tour of the 'most important building in town' - the town library. That evening when the library is closed he takes other birds back to see this incredible building and introduces them to the joys of books. More animals arrive to listen to the wisdom contained in the books. They are so impressed they join the library and borrow books. This increase in membership saves the library from the Mayor's planned budget cuts. (Source: Book)
