'[T]ells of a young girl, Saya, whose mother was English and father Japanese. Because of her beauty she serves as a model in the Japanese landscape for foreign tourists and painters. A young Australian artist instantly falls for her and they become engaged; however he is to go back to Australia leaving her with a promise to return. In Australia the artist suffers from a disease...An Australian woman saves the artist and takes care of him.
