This text is a companion volume to Asimir in Vienna and No Gun for Asimir, which received a high commendation in the Australian Human Rights Awards. This personal account of Asmir's father's struggle to escape from war-torn Sarajevo and rejoin his family has been retold by well-known children's author, Christobel Mattingley.
