AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Voices was presented by ABC TV in the lead-up to National Poetry Day (1 September). The program embraces the work of a wide variety of living Australian contemporary poets (twenty-six in all), and the diverse themes with which they deal in their poetry. Featuring pub poets, urban poets, bush poets, and inner-city rap poets, all performing their own poems in their own unique style, Voices is a forum for creative self-expression through the medium of spoken words.
