BiographyHistory

Mary Kyle Dallas was an American author and poet. Her syndicated serials and short stories appeared in many nineteenth century Australian newspapers and magazines.

Although considered low-brow by literary purists, her works appear to have been popular among readers in the Australian colonies. Her novel Grantford Grange was one of the first long-running serials to be published in the Queenslander, where it appeared from January to April 1867.
