'The Secret Science Society in Space is a fun story about diversity and individuality and the joys of science. It follows the adventures of four students who are forced to work together to represent their school to produce a project for a science fair.

'Zane has ADHD, Bart is autistic, Kiki has anxiety and Mona is, well, Mona is Mona. After visiting a space exhibition, they are alarmed to discover that Laika, the first dog to orbit the Earth, was sent up in a rocket with no chance of return. They decide that their project would be to create a spaceship that could bring animals home safely. On the day, Zane not only sneaks in a real dog but has the brilliant idea of cooking a piece of steak for ‘space-smell’ authenticity. Naturally, this leads to DISASTER! The twist gets even bigger when it is revealed that Mona’s dad is a real live astronaut.

'Despite a comedy of errors, naturally, they win first prize. As they work together, the very diverse characters discover that they all have strengths and weaknesses and that to be the best team, they had to support each other in the difficult times and celebrate the good.' (Publication summary)

'This book is Dyslexic inclusive; it is printed in a font that everyone can read, including people with dyslexia.

'Iris is a unique and charming little girl whose daily ritual is to live a different color of the rainbow. She only wears clothing of that color, eats food of that shade, and plays with toys or games of that tint.

'But one red day her mum forgets to wash her red clothes, they can't find any red food at the markets and her red book is missing.

'How does Iris handle this out-of-control situation?

'With her mum's help, Iris figures out that she can have rainbow days.

'This story is about how children can become obsessive with objects or activities so as to make sense of them or life, or to feel comfortable and in control. This scenario shows that it's not the end of the world when something goes wrong, it's OK, and with the help from others you can work through it and find other ways to move forward.' (Publication summary)

'Two teens from different sides of the country collide on the other side of the world in a little Italian village. Cynical and mistrusting of their heritage, Nick and Lia are thrust into a foreign world of their ancestors by a chance decision. Unknown to each other they set out on a long journey back to the 'old country' to appease their respective grandparents, only to find themselves involved in a mystery that could tear their individual families apart. Somewhere in the not too recent past, a misguided moment of youthful naivety threatened to crumble the hopes and aspirations of more than just the people involved. Now, with hindsight, and in an effort to know the truth before it's too late, Nick and Lia have to put aside their differences and put right the many past wrongs as they uncover a family secret that bonds them for life. In the process do they reveal their own hidden secrets? Little did they know they have more in common than they realised.'
