BiographyHistory

Christina Alexander graduated from Dunedin Teacher's College, New Zealand and the University of Queensland. She has taught in primary, secondary, tertiary and special needs education, has written several books on child education and has also written readers for children in the Banana Books series.

'Alexander is a dyslexia consultant and writer, the co-founder of the Brisbane Dyslexia Association and is a Seminar Leader for numerous dyslexia community awareness seminars with Apex, Lions International, and others in both metropolitan and remote areas.

She conducts annual dyslexia 4-day vacation schools for parents and associated professionals (teachers, doctors, librarians, para-medical personnel) with trained tutors.' Source: www.dyslexia-australasia.com/ (Sighted 13/04/2010).
