BiographyHistory

The Second Back Row Press was founded by Tom and Wendy Whitton, and initially published guides to capital city bookshops. It published a number of works relating to small or alternative presses in Australia, including the Australasian Small Press Review between 1975 and 1979. The press moved to Leura in the early 1980s and after that time published some local histories and heavily illustrated descriptions of the Blue Mountains, some volumes of poetry and prose, and a range of alternative lifestyle books.
