Random House Australia is a part of Bertelsmann AG. Random publishes books in the mass market field including illustrated works, and literary and children's books. Random operates through four autonomous publishing divisions - Random House, Knopf and Vintage; Bantam & Doubleday; Illustrated; and Children's Publishing, Random House. Random won Australian Publisher of the Year in 1993, 1997, 1998 and 2000.
